Step by Step
According to an ancient esoteric legend, Turin is the apex of two triangles: that of black magic (along with London and San Francisco) and that of white magic (with Lyon and Prague). With this reputation, it is not difficult to imagine that the city hides places and monuments related to the dark arts and good magic. This walking tour lasts about 2.5 hours and includes an expert guide. The itinerary will take you to the most emblematic and mysterious places of the city, such as:
- Piazza Statuto: the monument dedicated to the construction of the Frejus tunnel would actually be the gate of hell. The winged statue would represent Lucifer.
- Fontana delle Quattro Stagioni: the statues - two men and two women - represent the seasons and have a strong esoteric charge. In particular, the one representing autumn faces west, where the "black zone" of Turin is located.
- Piazza Castello: according to experts, it represents the epicentre of positive energy. The famous statues of the Dioscuri would represent a real watershed between the two souls of the city.
- Chiesa della Grande Madre di Dio: majestic neoclassical church, built at the beginning of the 19th century. The Holy Grail was to be found inside it.
- Portone del Diavolo: the main door of Palazzo Trucchi di Levaldigi has an unusual door handle, representing Satan with horns and open mouth.
This walking tour is available in all seasons. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
