Step by Step
Explore the south coast of Iceland on a guided tour of glaciers and waterfalls. The tour lasts approximately 10 hours and includes entrance fees to the various natural attractions:
- Skogafoss Waterfall: access and explore the water of the falls from the back. You are sure to be amazed by the almost permanent rainbow that accompanies this natural gem.
- Skógar Folklore Museum: visit the museum which houses over 15,000 historical objects from Iceland and discover how they lived and worked centuries ago.
- Solheimajokull Glacier: located near Vatnajökull, the largest iceberg in Europe. Walk around this natural monument until you see a lagoon formed by the glacier itself.
- Reynisfjara Beach: black sand beach surrounded by striking tall basalt rock formations that provide a beautiful natural landscape. They are located very close to Vik.
- Seljalandsfoss: 60-metre high waterfall originating from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. You can walk around it and see it from all angles.
- Vik: a fishing village surrounded by immense cliffs, monumental rock formations and volcanic black sand beaches.
On the way you can also enjoy a beautiful view of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier with your local guide.
Transport to and from Reykjavík will be by comfortable bus from selected hotels.
