Enjoy a guided tour of the Mojave Desert on an ATV for approximately one and a half hours. The tour takes place on a private trail within the Lake Mead Recreation Area, located only about 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Transport to the trailhead is included and pick-up is at an agreed central location in Sin City.

Before you get on the quad, your guide will give you a safety and orientation briefing. You will also receive the equipment you need: helmet, goggles and gloves. After that, you will get on the ATV and spend about 90 minutes enjoying the sandy desert landscape and the views of the mountains.

Hop on an ATV to explore the Mojave Desert, just 30 minutes from bustling Las Vegas. The activity lasts about 4 hours in total, including transfers between an agreed point in the city centre and the private trailhead at Lake Mead Recreation Area, where the tour begins.

On the way to the desert, the guide will explain the history of Las Vegas and, upon arrival, will give you directions for your quad tour with all the necessary safety measures. Finally, you will be given a safety helmet, gloves and goggles to protect you from the sand that the vehicle may kick up.

With everything ready, you will start your adventure on a private trail within the Lake Mead Recreation Area. For your safety, this trail is closed to the general public and other tours.

The ATV ride lasts approximately one and a half hours. During this time you will enjoy the breathtaking desert scenery with the adrenaline rush of off-road riding. The guide will lead you to the best places to take pictures of the mountain views near the Lake Mead Recreation Area.

I thought it was great that the guide was very attentive to ask us if we wanted photos. Sometimes with all the adrenaline you forget and in the end you regret not having any souvenirs. He took some nice photos of me alone and as a couple.
