Best Views in Las Vegas
Admiring a city from the heights is always an eye-catcher. And when the protagonist is Las Vegas, the viewpoints become an essential stop.
The neon lights and unique buildings of Sin City are the perfect backdrop for a drink on high or a dinner overlooking the Bellagio.
If you're planning your holiday and aren't sure what to see and do in Las Vegas, this article will help you a lot.
1. Ride the High Roller
Since 2014, Las Vegas has had a great panoramic Ferris wheel. It is 167 metres high and has 28 large cabins. Each is equipped with screens that explain the stories of the attractions you can admire from the window. The High Roller is open every day of the week and each ride lasts 30 minutes.
As for the price of the ticket, it depends on when you choose to go. If you go during the day it is cheaper at around €25, while at night the entrance fee is around €35.
Many prefer the first option for a view that stretches all the way to the mountains, others prefer the second for the light show.
The Ferris wheel is located on The Linq, a pedestrian walkway on the Strip. After your ride on the High Roller you can try some Hawaiian biscuits at Honolulu Cookie, buy some original socks at Socks and Bottom or grab a beer at the local bars.

2. Meet the most romantic icon of Las Vegas: the Eiffel Tower.
We've seen it in dozens of movies but few know its history. It all began in 1995 when Bally Entertainment, owner of nearby Bally's Las Vegas, announced the launch of a new hotel and casino. The shareholders' meeting decided to pay homage to the French capital with replicas of its attractions.
Paris Las Vegas is a gigantic resort embellished with Art Nouveau sculptures, impressionist paintings and replicas of monuments such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre. The Eiffel Tower is the hotel's postcard-perfect landmark and its slender silhouette looks out over the nearby Bellagio Fountains.
It is the tallest observation deck on the Strip and used 5,000 tons of steel to build it. You can climb to the vantage point from 15:00 to 22:00 for about 25 €. For more information I recommend you read the post about tickets to the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas.

One of its attractions is the SkyBar: it is located on the 23rd floor and from its large windows you can enjoy an incomparable view of the skyscrapers.
Its cocktail menu is carefully selected and includes both classic and daring options. If you book a table, I recommend ordering the following creations:
- Atomic, a nod to the state's nuclear past. About 100 kilometres from Sin City is the Nevada Test Site, a military area used for nuclear weapons detonations. During the tests, top commanders would have a drink made from gin, berry liqueur, raspberry syrup, sparkling wine and a few drops of lemon juice. There are tours from Las Vegas to the test site. It's a unique opportunity to see a Cold War "hot" spot.
- Sinatra, the cocktail dedicated to the eponymous crooner. Its ingredients are Tennessee whiskey, Amaro, lemon juice, mesquite honey and egg whites. The singer was known as much for his voice as for his possible links with the mafia. If you are interested in this subject, I recommend a visit to The Mob Museum in Las Vegas. You will learn about the exploits of organised crime and major police operations.
- The Waldorf, the drink invented at the New York headquarters of the hotel. The bartender mixes Scotch whisky, orange liqueur, vermouth and bitters and envelops the glass in an absinthe fog.
