Step by Step

On this tour you will get to know one of the jewels of Andalusia: Antequera, on a trip that you will do in small groups of about ten people from Granada. You will depart by bus for a one-hour guided tour to Antequera, an experience that will last around seven hours.

With a local guide, you will learn about all the wonders that surround this city. Antequera has a variety of elements that make it very special: an incredible rock that resembles a man's face, a myriad of ornate churches, dolmens dating back to 1800 BC and beautiful views.

One of the sights you will see in this city steeped in history is the Alcazaba de Antequera. This is a Moorish fortress that was erected on top of Roman ruins in the 14th century to counter the Christian advance from the north. Not only will you visit these monuments, but you will also have the opportunity to breathe in the nature that surrounds this city.

You will enjoy a walk in the Torcal de Antequera, a nature reserve in the Sierra del Torcal south of Antequera. It is known for its rather unusual geographical features and is considered one of the most impressive karst landscapes in Europe, as well as being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
