Step by Step

Enjoy a 3-hour bike tour of Bilbao in one of the most famous and historic cities in the Basque Country. You can experience this tour privately or with a small group of about 12 travellers.

A local guide will accompany you on the tour to show you the parks, the government buildings and the most famous landmarks of the city:

  • Guggenheim Museum: it has become one of the most important cultural projects in the city and holds works by representative artists of the last four decades.
  • Itsasmuseum Bilbao: a museum where you can learn about the maritime culture of the area through models, photographs, maps and other naval elements.
  • La Ribera Market: considered the oldest market in Europe and the most visited by locals for shopping.
  • Zubizuri Bridge: its avant-garde design has made it a symbol of Bilbao and gives the city a modern and cosmopolitan air.
  • Iberdrola Tower: the tallest skyscraper in the Basque Country and the largest office building in Spain.
  • Doña Casilda de Iturrizar Park: one of the city's most renowned public areas, you will walk through its green areas next to the Museum of Fine Arts.
  • Euskalduna Conference and Music Centre: a centre for shows and conventions. Its design is inspired by a ship built in the Euskaldun shipyard.
  • San Mamés Stadium: you will see the exterior of Athletic Club's football stadium.
  • City Hall: Basque administration and government institution characterised by its eclectic architecture.

The bicycles come equipped with helmets for your safety and baby seats, if necessary.

Some of the sites require the payment of a fee, which is part of the additional costs of this tour.

It was a very pleasant walk, but rather more strenuous than I had imagined.

An amazing and very exciting tour. I ended up more exhausted than I expected, but it was worth it. If you have the opportunity to do it, don't hesitate, it's a great help to learn more about the city and meet people from different places.

The tour was more than good, very complete and with a lot of information about the city provided by the guide. A pity that the weather was not on our side the day we had to do it. Recommended to do it in the company of someone.
