Step by Step
With this shark cage diving experience in Hermanus you can swim in the depths of the ocean and experience something unforgettable. This 6-hour activity gives you the unique opportunity to observe sharks in their natural environment, while being protected inside a safe cage.
The tour starts with an exciting boat trip along the coast of Hermanus, where you will meet your expert guides who will help you identify sharks and tell you interesting facts about the area. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of the ocean and coastline with breakfast and snacks included.
Once you arrive at the dive site, you will be fitted with a wetsuit and receive a short briefing on safety precautions and how to interact with sharks responsibly. You will then dive into the cage and have the opportunity to observe the predators swimming around you.
Included with this activity is a ticket for an additional visit to the penguin park at the African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary.
During the experience, you will be able to see the Great White Sharks up close, while feeling safe inside the cage. In case you don't manage to do the diving activity during the tour, you will be given a voucher in your name to redeem at another time. In addition, your transfer to and from Hermanus is included in the activity so that you can enjoy the day in comfort.
