Step by Step

Embark on this cruise to discover the most impressive spots along the Algarve coast. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, time you will spend aboard a pirate ship, inspired by the ships of real pirates, with large sails, masts you can climb and holes for cannons.

You won't have to worry about planning anything, as the itinerary is set: just hop on board and enjoy the ride. Along the way, you'll see picturesque fishing villages and some of the region's most iconic natural formations.

There will also be a swimming stop, so you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Algarve. After the dip, you'll swap the boat for smaller boats to take you to the beaches and get up close to the caves.

Among the natural wonders you will see are the famous caves of Portimão, most notably the Benagil Cave and the Alfanzina Cave. The Benagil cave is a small rocky cavity facing the sea, which houses a beach illuminated by the light that enters through a hole in its roof. Its magical atmosphere is hard to match, as it is a place created entirely by nature. The Alfanzina cave, on the other hand, does not have an opening in the roof, but goes several metres under the lighthouse of the same name.

The excursion is very good and quite complete, but I can't say the same about the experience as it made me a bit dizzy to be on the boat for so long. I still managed to enjoy most of the trip. I recommend it.
