Surf Lesson in Lisbon

This experience offers you a surf lesson of approximately 2 hours with a professional and certified instructor.

In addition, you will be provided with a wetsuit (either summer or winter, depending on the time of the activity) and a surfboard (hard or soft boards). The lesson will take place on the Costa da Caparica, one of the longest beaches in Europe. It is about 15 kilometres from Lisbon but transport is included in the experience, so don't worry about organising anything.

The activity, for both beginners and advanced surfers, will consist of a full surf lesson. The instructor will teach you everything you need to know about surfing techniques, water and wave analysis and safety procedures. You will warm up and at the shore you will be given brief guidelines and tips on how to tackle the waves on the board. As you ride the waves, a team photographer will immortalise your best moments and techniques on the board.

Surfing is a fun activity to do alone, with your family, with friends or with your partner. Many travellers want to feel the adrenaline of this sport and Portugal is one of the star destinations.

The Costa da Caparica is the perfect area for surfing and other water sports such as bodyboarding. Located very close to the mouth of the Tagus and only 15 kilometres from Lisbon, Caparica is an area full of atmosphere, with restaurants, pubs, discos and terraces where you can come to enjoy and disconnect. Certainly the best way to end a thrilling surfing adventure.
