Select date

Step by Step

Get to know the works inside the Museum of the Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena in Cuzco with these tickets. When you make your reservation you will select a day to visit, but the time is not set, as you can enter whenever you want, always within the opening hours.

These tickets will give you access to the museum inside the monastery, where the most important works related to the city are exhibited. Here you can see the great cultural change that took place between the traditional Inca culture and Christian colonialism.

Paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries are on display, which means that there are still marked influences from the culture of the Inca Empire, while the Christian thinking of the colonists was already beginning to establish itself.

In addition to the museum, you can also enter the Basilica de la Merced with your ticket. Here you will be able to observe its marked baroque style, which can be seen both inside and on the façade. You can take a short tour of the room or even sit and meditate for a while.

Good museum, with great content about the history of the Incas and some impressive works of art. I doubt that I will repeat this visit, but I am happy to have seen such a place. Recommended to go once.

A place with some magnificent works of art, some of the most beautiful I have seen during my holidays in Peru. A museum that everyone should visit at some point, highly recommended.
