Step by Step

Don't miss this guided tour of the National Museum of Anthropology, the most visited museum in Mexico. You will spend about 2 and a half hours in this experience, accompanied by a tour guide to whom you can ask all your questions.

After passing through what looks like the door of a traditional temple, you will enter the great labyrinth of rooms and exhibits that mix cultures and history. One of its most important pieces is the Aztec Sun Stone, also called the Aztec Calendar.

This stone represents the Mexican cosmology, as well as the solar cults performed by the Aztecs more than 500 years ago. While looking at various artefacts and sculptures, you will also take a tour through the history of the pyramids of Teotihuacan, which took about 350 years to build.

As you can see, it's a perfect way to learn about Aztec life and architecture, as well as information about the indigenous peoples of modern times. Plus, the guide will make sure you don't miss any of the museum's must-see works.

Undoubtedly a great place, it has a great decoration. The Aztecs are an expert! The most complete I have ever seen in terms of this type of culture. I really enjoyed getting to know it even though I walked more than I wanted to!
