Get out of Cancun and visit Bacalar, another of Mexico's paradises, with this excursion. You will dedicate a day to this experience, about 14 hours in total. The two cities are about 350 km apart, which is not a problem, as the return journey is included in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Throughout the trips you will be accompanied by a tour guide who will entertain you as you listen to their stories and take in the beautiful scenery. The experience is designed for small groups of about 10 travellers in total, so it will be a more personalised activity.

Due to the length of the excursion, a lunch cooked on a grill is included at midday and drinks are also included. Upon arrival in Bacalar you will board a boat for a guided tour of the lagoon and discover why it is called "The Lake of Seven Colours".

Inside the lagoon you will also visit three different cenotes. They are flooded holes with crystalline waters that give the sensation of being a natural and hypnotic well.

As well as having free time to enjoy Bacalar on your own, where you can swim, relax or take a stroll, other activities are also included. These include a visit to Fort San Felipe, including entrance to its Pirate Museum.

The tour is really good, it allows you to enjoy a wide variety of activities and is accompanied by an excellent guide. The only negative point of my tour was the weather, which unfortunately was not the most pleasant for some of the tours.
