Step by Step

Visit a glass factory on the island of Murano, famous for its tradition with this material. You will have the opportunity to learn about the art of glassblowing and witness the skilled craftsmen in action.

A guide will accompany you from Venice. You will arrive in Murano by public transport (not included in the activity). There you will be taken on a guided tour of the glassworks. You will learn more about the history and tradition of glassblowing on the island.

You will witness the manufacturing process as you watch the artisans in their workshop. You will see how they shape the hot glass and transform it into beautiful pieces of art.

In addition to observing, you will also have the opportunity to actively participate in the glassblowing process. Under the guidance of an expert craftsman, you will be able to create your own glass jewellery or mosaic , which you can take home as a souvenir.
