Step by Step

Explore the secret places of Rome by night, aboard a Vespa. A driver, who will also be your guide, will take you by scooter through medieval neighbourhoods and streets to discover the hidden architectural gems of the 'Eternal City'.

You will pass through the most valuable and lesser-known stops of the Italian capital in an exclusive experience for you and your group, as if you were on a quest for archaeological treasures, which are the footprints of the sacred Roman history.

You will get night access to the Order of Malta, where you will find the enigmatic Keyhole, which, when you peek into it, will give you one of the most beautiful and mysterious views of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica.

You will visit the Basilica of the Four Crowned Saints, an architectural marvel dating from between the 4th and 5th centuries AD and named after a group of Catholic Church martyrs who resisted the worship of the god Aesculapius.

You can also admire the wonderful Baroque, Gothic and medieval frescoes in the churches of Santo Stefano Rotondo and Santa Cecilia in Trastevere.

From the monuments of the Roman Empire, you will travel, by Vespa and by night, the epic road to the valley of the Circus Maximus, the most crowded stadium of ancient Rome, where more than 300,000 Romans used to go to bet on the popular religious games of the time.

In the Protestant Cemetery, you will be able to appreciate the epitaphs of Italian and European cultural personalities who did not profess the Catholic religion, such as the philosopher Antonio Gramsci and the English poet John Keats.

Another of Rome's breathtaking views can be seen in the peaceful, greenish Garden of Oranges, hidden in the bowels of the Aventine Hill.

And to make your evening Vespa scooter ride even more enjoyable, you will have the opportunity to taste a delicious espresso coffee or Italian gelato.

I went with my partner, we had to go on different scooters as the tour is individual. We still had a great time, we had a very educational tour with the guides. They both knew a lot! We took amazing pictures at all the stops we made.
