A cooking class in Positano is an original and highly recommended experience for anyone on holiday on the Amalfi Coast. The activity lasts about 3 hours and takes place at the home of a local person with a passion for cooking.
The house where the experience takes place has a large and beautiful balcony overlooking the crystal clear sea of Positano. After an aperitif with sparkling wine, you will enjoy a three-course menu that may include the following specialities:
- Parmigiana di melanzane - A delicious recipe with fried aubergines, tomato sauce, parmesan or mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and chopped garlic and onion. Like lasagne, it is layered and a baking process results in an irresistibly tasty dish. Despite its name, it has no connection with the city of Parma and probably refers to the type of cheese used.
- Ravioli ricotta e spinaci - Fresh pasta with a very popular filling in Italy: ricotta and spinach. Usually served with a butter and sage sauce, although there are several variations.
- Tiramisù - The perfect way to end any meal with a sweet and sophisticated touch. Layers of coffee-soaked sponge cakes and smooth cream make every bite a pleasure.
