Embark on an exciting tour in the footsteps of the Medici family in Florence. This Florentine family, known for their power and influence during the Renaissance, left an impressive legacy in the city.
The approximately one and a half hour tour will begin at the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, an architectural masterpiece that was the residence of the Medici family. Here you can admire the magnificent Renaissance façade and explore the stunning frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli in the Chapel of the Magi.
Continue to the Basilica of San Lorenzo, one of the oldest churches in Florence and the burial place of many members of the Medici family. Admire the Renaissance architecture outside the Medici Chapel, an impressive marble mausoleum that houses the Medici tombs.
The tour then continues to the Palazzo Pitti, an imposing Renaissance palace that was the residence of the Medici family after their move from the Palazzo Vecchio.
As a last stop before the end of the tour, your guide will take you to one of Florence's most famous gelato shops, where you can add a sweet touch to your day with a delicious gelato dessert.
