Normandy Day Trip from Paris with Landing Beaches Tour, Cider Tasting and Lunch

This exciting tour of around 14 hours will take you from Paris to Normandy to explore the famous D-Day landing sites.

You will start your day early in the morning, travelling in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. During the journey, an expert guide will provide you with historical information about the Second World War and the events that took place on these beaches.Once in Normandy, you will visit some beaches and locations where you will have the opportunity to think and learn more about the events that took place there more than 75 years ago. Some of them are:

• Utah Beach Museum: a moving tribute to the history of World War II, especially Operation Overlord.
• Utah Beach: one of the landing sites during D-Day in 1944, it is a historic site that still retains traces of the invasion.
• Pointe du Hoc: the scene of an amazing military feat during D-Day. This site commemorates the courage of the American Rangers who scaled these heights in the midst of combat.
• Colleville-sur-Mer American Cemetery: a solemn site that houses the graves of thousands of American soldiers who lost their lives in the Battle of Normandy.
• Omaha Beach: another crucial beach during D-Day, it is a historic site that evokes deep reflection on the events of the past.

After visiting the landing sites, you will head to an authentic Norman cider house to enjoy a cider tasting. Here you will learn about the cider making process and taste different varieties of this typical drink of the region.

At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a delicious 2-course lunch in a local restaurant, where you will taste traditional Normandy dishes. After a day full of history and culinary experiences, you will return to Paris in an air-conditioned vehicle.
