Step by Step
The tour departs from Nice to reach three famous locations on the Côte d'Azur: Cannes, Antibes and Saint-Paul-de-Vence. The trip takes between 4 and 5 hours by minivan. You will be accompanied by an expert guide who will explain the history of each destination. During the tour you will visit the following places:
- Cannes - Home of the famous film festival and worldly town. At the foot of the Suquet hill is the charming old harbour and from there the Croisette, the boulevard that runs along the Mediterranean. On the heights, there is a castle which houses a museum dedicated to world history. During your stay in Cannes, you will have the opportunity to walk the red carpet which hosts the stars of the big screen every year.
- Antibes - A seaside town with a millenary history. Founded by the Greeks, it has a historic old town with narrow streets, a star-shaped fortress and the famous Cap d'Antibes, a promontory with yachts, hotels and luxury residences. Picasso lived here and a museum commemorates his time on the Côte d'Azur.
- Saint-Paul de Vence - Picturesque town just a few kilometres from the coast. Its beauty has attracted artists from all over Europe and it still houses painters' studios, the Maeght contemporary art foundation, as well as typical bars and restaurants.
The tour is easy, comfortable and designed for small groups. Although lunch is not included, there is no shortage of options at lunchtime. If you visit these places in summer, don't forget the sunscreen at the hotel.
