- Omaha Beach: many battles and battles were fought here during the war. About 43,500 Americans and 12,000 Germans were killed on this beach.
- Utah Beach: one of the first beaches secured by the Allies with impressive bombing raids.
- Sword Beach: British and French soldiers advanced from here to capture the Pegasus Bridge.
- Omaha Beach, which saw some of the deadliest fighting.
- Commonwealth: military cemetery from World War I and World War II. It is the largest British cemetery located in France.
- Museum Merville Battery: coastal fortification that served as an Atlantic wall for the Nazis.
- Juno Beach Centre: a museum honouring Canadian troops where you will learn more about France's role in the victory.
- Hillman Bunkers: one of the German defensive position points to defend the French coast.
- Ardenne Abbey: dating back to the 12th century and the site of the execution of 11 Canadian prisoners.
