Step by Step
This tour departs from Split and goes to Omiš on the banks of the Cetina River. The trip takes place by air-conditioned bus, and once there, an expert guide will explain how to descend the torrent and provide you with the equipment (helmet, safety waistcoat and paddle). The route is not "linear", but includes stops to jump off the rocks, recover energy or swim. The activity lasts about 4 hours in total.
At 104 kilometres long, the Cetina is the longest river in Dalmatia. It rises from a beautiful karst lake and over the centuries has created a valley with rapids, waterfalls and small caves, all surrounded by dense vegetation. It alternates between calm and hectic sections, but is nevertheless suitable for everyone, from beginners to experts.
By choosing this experience, you will experience a real adventure, as there are walking sections, cave crossings and overcoming obstacles. You won't have to worry about anything; the guides know every stretch of the river and will help you descend safely.
It is an activity for the whole family and can be done in spring, summer and early autumn. To participate, you will need to wear a swimming costume. We also recommend that you bring dry clothes, water, sun cream and a towel in your backpack.
