Step by Step
On this tour you will travel from Dubrovnik to the coast of Montenegro, where you can explore some of the most emblematic places in the area. You will enjoy a beautiful drive along the southern coast of Dalmatia, and get to know the small towns and villages of the Adriatic.
The activity will last approximately 12 hours, during which you will be accompanied by an expert guide. With this guide, you will learn about the history, culture and architecture of the places you will visit, thus gaining a deeper knowledge of the environment.
The destinations included in the activity are the following:
- City of Kotor: It is a city located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, known for its impressive Venetian architecture and for being surrounded by high walls. In addition, its old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has several historical monuments such as the Cathedral of St. Triphon and the Clock Tower.
- Zupa Dubrovacka i Konavle Valleys: They are known for their beautiful natural scenery, with rolling hills and farmland, and for being home to several species of indigenous flora and fauna. They are also popular for their rich gastronomy and for the production of local wine and olive oil.
- Island of Nuestra Señora de las Rocas (optional): This small island is located in the bay of Kotor, near the town of Perast. It is known for its baroque church dedicated to the Virgin Mary and for being a place of pilgrimage for Catholics in the region. The island also has a museum of sacred art and offers beautiful panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding area.
- Budva: You will have free time to explore this town on the Montenegrin coast, known for its beautiful beaches and lively nightlife . In addition, its old town is well preserved and boasts impressive Venetian architecture, with numerous churches, palaces and historic fortifications . After the tour, you will return to Dubrovnik, as both the outward and return transport is included in the tour.
