Step by Step

This cycling route goes through Medellín favouring cycling lanes, parks and roads with little traffic. The activity is designed for small groups and includes a helmet, coffee and/or tea and some snacks to recharge your batteries. An experienced guide will accompany you along the route, which lasts between 3 and 4 hours.

The tour is easy to do and allows you to see Medellín from a different perspective, taking in some of the city's highlights, such as:

  • Atanasio Girardot Stadium: third largest stadium in Colombia and home to Atlético Nacional and Independiente Medellín.
  • Parque de los Pies Descalzos: a true urban oasis designed to get in touch with nature and forget about the hustle and bustle of the city.
  • Centro Administrativo La Alpujarra: the seat of the government of the department of Antioquia and the city council of Medellín.
  • Parque de la Luz: officially known as Plaza de Cisneros, it is a green area with 300 lampposts in the form of columns.
  • Parques del Río: 71,800 square metres of green areas on the banks of the Medellín River.
  • Plaza Botero: urban space that houses 23 sculptures donated to the city by Fernando Botero.
  • Pueblito Paisa: the reproduction of a typical Antioquian village, with colourful colonial style houses.

The tour does not require exceptional fitness. Stops are frequent and include both drinks and snacks.
