- Burgruine Dürnstein: stunning medieval UNESCO World Heritage Site village perched on a steep cliff above the Danube. It is the place where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in 1192. The ruined castle of Aggstein is one of its main attractions.
- Vinoteca Dürnstein: a local Austrian tavern visited by many locals, where you can enjoy delicious regional food. Expenses are on your own.
- Danube River: if your excursion is in summer, you can cruise the Blue Danube for 1 hour on a river cruise between the villages of Spitz and Melk.
- Melk Abbey: if your tour is in winter, you will have your entrance with guided tour to Melk Abbey, one of the most famous Christian monuments in the world, founded in 1089. It is located on a rocky hilltop above the city, from where you have a wonderful view of the Danube river.
You will have free time to explore each place and take the best souvenir pictures. You can visit a small and typical wine cellar to taste the flavours of the local wine and other specialities. The activity is done with a small group of about 8 people to guarantee a closer and more personalised experience.
